It's been one of those kinda days today
...music does wonders for the soul sometimes.....Please brighten my day with a little music...always helps
What is your favorite song? What would you say is the most annoying song ever?
What kinda music gets the workflow goin? When you're down, what do you listen to? Let's fill this blog with good stuff (and not so good stuff
)...and what is your connection to the music you prefer?
There are some crazy laws around the world such as:
In The USA:
Tying an Alligator to a fire hydrant is illegal
You cannot take a Lion to the movies
Singing happy birthday to someone on the wrong day is illegal
In Alabama it’s illegal to marry any animal that’s not already a relation
In England:
Jumping off a building was illegal and you could receive a death sentence if guilty.
If a woman drove a car her husband had to walk in front with a flag
You are allowed to shoot a Welsh person with a bow and arrow after midnight.
In Ireland:
You may not eat cheese with your fingers
It’s illegal to throw stones at animals but frowning at them was legal
It’s illegal to practice witchcraft
In Switzerland:
It’s illegal to flush a toilet after 10pm if you live in an apartment, but you can store dead relatives in a bank vault for 7 months.
Any crazy laws where you live?
Even animals get jealous - for attention, or competing for the same thing - and Nature doesn't build in pointless emotions, so what is jealousy good for?
Anger gives us the strength and adrenalin rush to fight
Fear lends us wings to run away
Happiness rebuilds our strength to live another day
Love inspires us to build towards a future
etc
Jealousy seems such a destructive emotion but is it? I'm including things like
Envy of the achievements of others
Jealousy when a loved one seems to be making a connection with another and we feel threatened
Resentment when someone else is being praised
Benefits?
Would you tell a woman that you know has a boyfriend and you have heard her complain about him in the past..."If you are ever looking for a new man, I think you are a nice, responsible, pretty woman, and I am single."
The old me would never want to interfere in anyone's relationship in any way. However, the way things are going in this world, I am starting to think that might be the only way of beginning a relationship.
Most of the single women I know, are single for a reason....and I don't want anything to do with that.
It is something else, I have not drank to get drunk for nearly a year now. But, I do still hang out at bars. It is beautiful living life sober. A lot of the people I know who use drugs and drink frequently are just bombarded with issues in their lives. legal...financial...relationships...personal....physical.....you name it, it is there.
Anyway, just a little side note there.
Of course, if I don't want to meet a lady who drinks or is on drugs, don't hang out at a bar. Well, I am perhaps stuck trying to pick up ladies who are in relationships otherwise...it would seem.
A friend of mine recently told me....you need to make yourself vulnerable to women. He said that, us men see it as being vulnerable, where women see it as having emotions. I wonder if he didn't read Daniel's blog?
And no I don't mean on CS although some of us did and there was a real difference
How much does your name influence your life? When someone gives you a nickname, is it an annoyance or a relief? Lovers give each other pet names - a subconscious desire to change their loved one into a person who belongs only to them.
Slightly worrying when the new lover is called by the pet name given to the ex, mind. "Darling" is one thing, "Squooglemix" may be another.
If your name is, for example, Benjamin, you may introduce yourself as Benjamin, or Ben, or Benny, or Benjy, whichever is your 'happy' name.
When others add their own variations, especially when they've just met you, how irritating is that? It's like they don't even know you and already they're trying to change you. I don't even answer to the name Liz, not because I dislike the name, I simply assume the person is talking to someone else. It is absolutely not me.
I'd love to know if anyone has completely changed their name, even if only for a specific group of people, and noticed a real difference. Believers in numerology insist that changing your name - changing one letter can make the difference - can change your life. I have now been known in real life as Biff for over a year - I like it, and I have certainly changed in some ways, so it made me curious.
Simply weird, or horrible leadership, or intentional malice.
There must be a Lot of stuff that people dont like....Im sure there is for most of you..In reality ..all of you....Everybody Likes somethings and Everybody Doesnt like other things..........................
I got the idea from Diz.
Every player starts from 0 (i.e. outside of the board)
Roll the die by clicking here:
and move that many squares.
Don't cheat!
Post your initial and final position (also explain if you happen to climb up a ladder or slide down a snake). Nobody is allowed consecutive plays. The first to reach 100 wins
That's it! Let the game begin.
1st Round: WINNER: SMARTassss
