When my guests arrived for the party last night, I was quickly faced with a nightmare. The guests, who were made up by family, regular friends and colleagues, immediately condensed into 3 cliques with a few individuals hanging round the fringes not knowing if they belong or not.

But after a while I saw one of my fishing buddies talking to an academic about good fishing spots and they were soon joined by one of my cousins with a similar interest. Further on, near the bar counter, 4 people were discussing modern chess openings and at another spot, a small cluster were discussing the reasons for our local rugby team’s defeat the previous weekend. In another place a few ladies were exchanging email addresses in order to obtain a recipe or two.

As the evening proceeded groups formed and dissolved all the time. The cliques were broken… or were they merely replaced by other cliques?

Of course a few of the academics stuck together – talking shop - while a few of the others remained unattached drifting from one group to another. So funny, they were the first to leave.

Cliques are the natural way in which we group ourselves unknowingly by sticking to people with the same interest. And just as we surround ourselves with people thinking the same as us, we also avoid those who think different. It is natural selection process.

And then if you want to join a group and they don’t want you there for some reason or another… you blame the clique.

Or if you are so unique that you cannot fit into any group... you blame the clique.

You cannot be betrayed by your known enemies. You expect them to stab you in the back and therefore you never turn your back towards them. It is natural behavior for them to undermine you.

It is those whom you trust that betray you; often a good friend.

Julius Caesar must the ultimate example of a betrayal. First his friend Brutus was one of the main conspirators to his assassination. It is said that when Caesar saw his friend amongst the traitors, he covered his head with his cloak and offered no further resistance.

And then his other friend, Marc Anthony, proposed to the senate that the assassins be pardoned. The proposal was accepted; a double betrayal.

Caesars had many enemies and his last words portray that. Et tu, Brute? And you too, Brutus? Better translated as: Even you, Brutus?

You are seldom betrayed when you are strong and firmly in the saddle. It is when you are weak with plenty of enemies, when you can least afford it, that people betray you.

So, by the same definitions, can you be betrayed by your lover? Apparently not; you should expect such behaviour because they say all is fair in love and war.

YOU WORRY ME!

I've been trying to say this since 911, but you worry me. I wishyou didn't. I wish when I walked down the streets of this country that I love, that your color and culture still blended with the beautiful human landscape we enjoy in this country. But you don't blend in anymore. I notice you, and it worries me.

I notice you because I can't help it anymore. People from your homelands, professing to be Muslims, have been attacking and killing my fellow citizens and our friends for more than 20 years now. I don't fully understand their grievances and hate, but I know that nothing can justify the inhumanity of their attacks.

On September 11, ARAB-MUSLIMS hijacked four jetliners in my country. They cut the throats of women in front of children and brutally stabbed to death others. They took control of those planes and crashed them into buildings, killing thousands of proud fathers, loving sons, wise grandparents, elegant daughters, best friends, favorite coaches, fearless public servants, and children's mothers.

The Palestinians celebrated, the Iraqis were overjoyed as was most of the Arab world. So, I notice you now. I don't want to be worried. I don't want to be consumed by the same rage, hate and prejudice that has destroyed the soul of these terrorists. But I need your help. As a rational American, trying to protect my country and family in an irrational and unsafe world, I must know how to tell the difference between you, and the Arab/Muslim terrorist.

Great Britain to leave EU !


Today is the last day of campaigning in the so called Brexit election, with both sides slinging mud at the other hoping some will stick the BBC news service, once renown for it's impartiality, on the suffice at least, has I believe shown it's true colours in the last week by hiding some news items & plugging others, one item having at least having two stories listed on there headlines every day for a week.

Like everyone in the UK I was saddened by the murder of the MP Jo Cox, whom I'm in little doubt was a genuine caring person, however I'm now coming to the conclusion some see this as manner from heaven as far as there campaign goes, but all is not what it seems even there, big play & massive public support has been seen for Jo's causes, but even the most worthy people can be fooled sometimes, following a post I saw on FB I've done a little research on one of these "causes" she supported & is now receiving public donations, White Helmets, on the face of it a humanitarian organisation currently involved in Syria.

White Helmets, founded by James Le Mesurier, a humanitarian hmmmm, former UK Army Intelligence officer, who went on to become a private contractor in organisations like the American firm Blackwater, funded by western governments & George Soros, remember him, the man who nearly bankrupt the UK on Black Wednesday, personally making over a billion pounds in 24 hours betting against the pound in the doomed EU Exchange Rate Mechanism & now a vocal pro EU supporter, yes I wonder why there are accusations that White Helmets are nothing more than a tool to get rid of Assad, using pictures taken from all over & claiming them as proof of Assad's use of barrel bombs against his population, I'm sure this story will rumble on for some time to come, but we Brits have only today to make up our minds about who to believe & who's telling porkies to further their own ends.

I'm not myself these days...working too hard and not getting enough sleep...and that greatly affect my libido

Busy at work here and just accidentally voided a big order that took a lot of effort to process and set up for shipment. Have to do it all over again and I'm not going to do it right now Also, I sent documents to the wrong person, luckily it's not something that could put anyone in jeopardy

Today, I scolded my son for watching stupid youtube videos posted on FB. I told my kid to "stop wasting time on stupid BLOGS!" that made me feel guilty.

Days ago, I picked fight with the jerk, complaining of not seeing him for 6 long months...I completely forgot he was here last month that made him wonder if he's that forgettable and a while ago, I told him to get at least 12 hours sleep to delay his dementia

They said sex can fix anything...you agree?

When I am dead and gone: It will be an honor if you say a little prayer for me. Talk about me good or bad, (I hope not my shortcomings and mistakes) but anything good that I have done to humanity if any. With thousands of students that I taught in many Universities, I am sure, I am not all that bad. I am not perfect. I have done so many mistakes and I apologize for all of them.

So,


Please remember me and talk as much as you want about me. That is our ways, we catholic of honoring our dead. We have our cemetery, our altars where we put the memories, ashes and or reminiscence of our dead love ones, just to remember them. Say a little prayer because we believe that through prayers, we are saved from our sins and I beleive I have a lot of them.

So for anyone who shares the same belief, you will not deface me, if I die, pass on and say a little bit about me, good or bad. That will be my way of knowing that you care, at least to think of me and remember me.

Note: Life is unpredictable, I can die tomorrow, or now, if and when that happens. I instructed my children to at least log on for me and let you all know that I passed on.

For the atheist who don't share the same belief, it is okay. It will be a pleasure for me if you will talk about me even resurrecting some of my writes and talk about it.

NOTE: all the famous athors of this civilized world, most of them all dead, we still talk about them, discuss all their ideas, does that mean we deface them? Heck no.
