Geranium whispers in the twilight haze, A queen wanders under the moon's soft gaze. Her kingdom lost, her heart in strife, In every petal, she seeks her life.
Aster stars sprinkle the night, Guiding her way with their radiant light. Echoes of laughter, shadows of crowns, In dreams of old, her hope rebounds.
Lilies pure, standing tall and fair, Whispers of a kingdom that was once there. Courage in heart, scepter in hand, She journeys forth to reclaim her land.
Iris, the rainbow, blooms in her wake, Reflecting the path that she must take. Across the mountains, through the dales, Her spirit strong, she never fails.
Camellia blushes in dawn's first light, Symbol of love, burning bright. In the heart of a queen, love knows no bounds, Her lost kingdom, she finally found.
In the forest of forget-me-not, She finds a land that time forgot. The palace stands, proud and grand, In the kingdom, where love and memories expand.
Azalea, a celebration of life anew, In the heart of the kingdom, where love is true. With her people, she dances with joy, In the land that time could never destroy.
Daisies bloom in fields wide and vast, Reminding her of a beautiful past. Now the queen of a kingdom reborn, In the heart of her people, she'll never be forlorn.
Roses, the symbol of eternal love, Blessings bestowed from the heavens above. In the heart of a rose, she finds her peace, Queen of her kingdom, where wonders never cease.

About this poem:
The poem "Queen Searching Lost Kingdom" is a beautiful and deeply evocative narrative, eloquently capturing the journey of a queen in search of her lost realm. It effortlessly weaves the theme of perseverance, love, and the power of hope through its exquisite lines. (To Maharlika)
Why did you go You left me all alone My heart is shattered to pieces I love you so I raised you like you were my own How am I supposed to live without you I can’t think clearly My brain in a frozen fog You are missed greatly You my dear little brother you forever are my best friend There will never be another My body aches My head so heavy I shed tears for us all day and night I hope to sleep tonight We know that will never happen I watched you go We were sitting there talking and Then God came to take you home My heart beats slow My head hangs low I walk through life feeling stabbing pains I miss and love you so much XXX

About this poem:
You were so weary God put his arms around you You gently slipped away That’s the day you were taking to your new home while holding Gods hands You didn’t go alone a part of me went too Never good bye Always I’ll see you later!
Gathered one behind one they came in a herd throughout the village wagon wheels heard, the clanging of pots the clinging of tin staring I was in bewilderment when I noticed him.
They searched the fields for borrowed land they settled down gathered in camp, daily I watched infatuated by them no" I tell a lie, I was with him.
Just like the others he laughed and danced in the night thoughts of him chased me followed him I did, to keep him in sight. Unnoticed I watched like a lurker in the bush, unable to control my burning lust.
He bathed in the lake watching again unseen by him fantasies crossing my mind as my eyes bore into his skin.
With a blink from my eye he was gone from the lake my heart skipped a beat when I heard the twig break, there he stood naked with eyes as black as coal he see's and upon me frees my gypsy soul.
The wagon wheels tins and pots we heard come in daylight, yet not a sound to be heard when they left in the dead of the night. Regret? or feel shame? how could I not at tall instead I'm forever grateful to the gypsy who answered my call.

About this poem:
Today I was reminded of an old love song which then reminded me of an old poem I once wrote here years ago, my oh my the similarities, and here was me thinking I had written it coming from nowhere. Funny how things impact our lives without us really knowing it.... Mills & boom have a lot to answer for too I'm sure.
She stood there Eye wide open but not lit. In a state of intensive care. A hard 5 months later she was back riding in the wind with some hickups. Kept her safe once she proved to me that this was for life. Now She is in the best shape I ever seen her even though her last Heart operation that I supervised/did was in 1997. She has a good heart so I will keep her safe as long as I can. Shovelhead I love you and I'm thinking of painting you RED. Whadoyouthink. Hugs Emoticon
Suddenly the world stood still Silence spread across the land Not even the song of a bird trill Every peep and movement banned
A feared darkness spread over all Inhabitants tucked in their abodes Not wanting company coming to call Afraid that the darkness would implode
At first desiring for all to be normal To get back to the way things were But were things really abnormal And a permanent change about to occur
For out of the darkness good things came Bravery – kindness – caring – new friends Supporting others – not knowing their name For no doubt the World had transcend

About this poem:
Wrote this 6-9-2023. I thought of writing something Rock off a scale of the days of yore of Rock! Perhaps something like a modern-day oldie with rock, blues, and jazz style, or maybe something more The sound somewhat modern studio wise, but the vocals, the group, very old school style. Let's day the 50's early 60's? An interesting aspect, eh? lol Until then
Within the blood-red nature of this rose, Runs sap of life - without impediment, A scarlet ruffle, in the sunshine grows, Amidst the thorns of our bewilderment, That blooms in Spring, before the Winter snows, Banish Autumn, and the flowers' raiment, To Time;- as long forgotten love affairs;- Her billets-doux, the wind takes unawares.
Headlights shine on rain slicken roads Dotted lines and yellow ribbons glow Staying between them steady as she goes Mile after mile going all night The darkness has only been growing My thoughts are weighing me down Waiting to see you again When I find my way back home In a quiet country where knowing When we will be together again I’ve been gone a long, long time Drifting from one life to another Picking up after all the broken lies Shattered dreams in fields gone by As helpless now as I am somehow You have always saved me a seat Your table overflowing fruits of love Shared in the harvest gained from above Maybe, maybe we have something Created like we had the first time When we fell down and laughed In the tall green grasses of late spring And somewhere in between found love
