caress me stroke me hair is on end skins piled high with goose bumps again. . . this always happens layin outside with you, send chills up my spine eyes close warm sunshine. . . it's never the same how you gentle my skin, sometimes soft pressure or feathered slight touch. . . at times skin settles seem's ur no longer there to find your last touch blew away in the air~

as I skim the treetops
gazing all around
birds on nearby branches
joyfully sing their song
looking upwards on high
never ceases to astound
white clouds on a blue sky
looming in the background
glancing downwards
my vision contacts the ground
where water in a nearby stream
gently flows along
leaves that fell from the trees
have all turned to brown
dotting the green grass
growing on the ground
among the fallen leaves
some wildflowers abound
painting a lovely picture
leaving me spellbound

Thousands of shards
Glass worn smooth
By the passage
Of time
Washed up in sand
Many colors
Reflecting the sun
As I walk by
Once long ago
Part of something
Whole
Thousands of nights
Dreams come true
As only dreams
Make believe
What was real
Once long ago
Coming true
Under the stars
Old
Thousands of days
My body
Makes restless
Steady as hope
Awake
Swept up
Into dust
Tiny speckles
Made solid into
Gold
Thousands of flames
Burning into ash
Rising from fire
Lighter than air
I see them glow
And sparkle
A brief moment
Flying up then
Falling back down
Cold

That special time of day, when a red glow
Appears in the distance, as pace slows
As a candle, flickers from light and bright
To fade, as nature snuffs day and light
Areas of ruby colour, will not last long
The sun dies, and soon will be gone
Leaving brief dusk, that turns to dark
Birds stop chattering, until morning lark
Starts the cycle, as a new day begins
Chorus of waking birds, joyously sing
Dews melts, as the rising sun rays
Stream across earth, welcoming a day
Bringing hope, in every form to all
Sunshine, or maybe rain will fall
Nature decides, as life goes on
Animal and plant life, sharing its song.....

Caged in the house
Like a lonely princess
In the grim castle
I strain my ears to hear
“Knock, knock!”
Is he there yet?
Spring is going wild outside
Buzzing and blooming
A little bird
Keeps coming back
To knock on my window
And chirp
I do not know his language
But it sounds like
“Get out, stupid!”

Empty coastal bay, seems lost in time
Sand undisturbed, no footprint sign
Of those who've wandered, by the sea
Amongst seashells-seaweed, scattered free
Rolling ocean, stretching wide and blue
Sparkling sunshine, shines as crystals do
Highlighted by sun, upon the water vast
Where visitors stand, eyes ocean caste
Swimmers are rare, as are children who play
Rips in the tide, can make swimmers pay
The price of the ocean, as seafarers know
Alluring trap of beauty, constant waves flow
Waves reach the beach, with a hiss or a roar
Broken by out-rocks, at the edge of the shore
Secluded and private, sheltered from breeze
On a hot summer day, ocean will tease
To swim in such splendour, gentle-sleek
Hiding its dangers, adventurous will seek
To stroll even picnic, sunbathe or paddle
Or on horse back riders, mounted on saddles.
Though everyone who visits, sense temptation
Gentle welcoming ocean, sends open invitation
No lifeguards or flags, warn of danger that waits
Just a single displayed lifebelt, to crush nature's bait

I am in awe of and feel blessed by the nature that surrounds me here...on retreat with no ticking clock, no timetable
Tucked nicely away from the hustle and bustle watching the trees gently sway whilst listening to their leaves rustle
The melodic sound of birdsong fills the air and their delightful acrobatic display seduces me
Refreshing rain falls and that awakens my very presence as my senses are stimulated and pleasant thoughts are provoked
I feel insignificant yet protected in the woods around the tall strong trees and their foliage so dense
Each year, every season come rain or shine, during both good times or sad I am drawn to return and just be....
I choose to be fully present here...soaking in the atmosphere of each unique minute, hour, day....i sit, i walk, i lay in sweet surrender feeling weightlessly at peace
Nestled amongst the array of spectacular colours, the scent of sweet perfume the diversity of the clouds in the sky, the sun, the stars the moon
The sound of silence envelops me ,the stillness calms my mind
The gentle breeze whispering in my ears. caressing my skin reminding me it’s real as it feels so surreal
I am here it is not just a dream....it is a free gift and one i shall always treasure
Just as the stream fluctuates, the trees bend are flexible ...i surrender ...i choose to go with the flow
I rest in complete awe of this seemingly mystical splendour as it gently blesses me, restoring my mind body and soul
And I mindfully give thanks to our creator, as i go.

I wondered how many really died
Which politician really lied
I see our weaknesses magnified
As the death toll multiplied
I see a world brought to a halt
Everyone trying to pass the fault
As COVID made a giant somersault
Reminds me why Lot's wife turned to salt.
Leaders once dominating made unsure
Scientist scrambled about for a cure
Most of us hidden behind a closed door
Watching tv and/or trying to learn more
While the Essentials tried to be brave
Not properly equip as lives they save
Our loved one might be buried in a mass grave
No matter if it be owner or slave
Our heart rate is now only registered rapid.
The future to most just looks morbid
Lord for Goliath you sent mighty little David;
Please Lord what or whom are you sending for COVID!
