Winged Lovers

Passion escapes on newly emerged wings
Take flight dear lover to heights far above
Above dull drabby dampness water brings
Stay with me awhile we twitter with love

Rest not weary souls for our lives are short
Leave all your worries with discarded ghost
Our flight will become our grandest consort
So before we fall let's make it the most

Who shall dare decry such flights immortal
Trudging away slow strides in lakes below
Far away sky a pleasurable portal
For once, and only once just let it go

Life we cherish is not for the taking
For all the more happier love making

About this poem:
Inspired by hatching mayflies, when emerging from water have no mouth parts for which to feed, but only a few days to live with only one purpose left to perform .....to mate on wings

Late Summer Fog

Fog fills my valley
With empty chills
No searching eyes
Nor raptors calls
Quiet is perched
On branch so still
Waiting out silence
On ground below
Drab yellow orb dull
Cast only eerie glows
With no place to go
Moving rivers slows
Earthly sleep bestows

Common Dandelion (Yankee's Challenge)

How great you are the mighty lion's tooth
Emerging through the mottled winter kill
Bursts into life so many blooms of youth
Lying your yellow carpet down the rill

In these longer hours for daylight to pass
Just below the ridge running wild with ease
Happens at once the snowdrift melts alas
Change mindless dullards into swarming bees

A springtime welcome sign like no other
Gives up sweet nector make hives of honey
Such a gift to give our earthly mother
Greater your gold than glitter of money

When your aging blooms turn to hollow globes
Watching wind blow your parachuted robes

About this poem:
The dandelion is a flower that I admire. It reflects brightly upon my youth. We would pluck it many flowers answering such important questions of the day like ''she's loves me or she love's me not"....or link its stems together into proud necklaces. It reminds of how something so simple and yet so common (enough to be called an invasive, noxious weed by 'The Purists') can also be so useful and colorful and welcomed by many other creatures..including me for making some delicious wine that I use mostly for cooking and also tenderizing meat.

Reception of a flower

It´s not the treasures of the world
which invoken my longing
Far from selfish greed, I write these words
about seeing the one, my flower in her grace

I am not dreaming, or sleeping aswell
understanding, my life was a slumber for years.
Sharpen the senses, give the abstract a body,
Conflict between passion and praise

The sweet ordeur of youth surrounds it
the soft light of morning shines upon
the taste of a new season unfolds
its fine lining from unfullfilled embrace

Protecting the most valuable
the memory of every single moment
exploring insatiable the deepest empathy
for the few moments in this glaze

CloudySky

A few Haiku Poems

Lily pads floating
Tranquil waters undisturbed
Beauty of Nature

Icy mountain tops
Glistening in the sunshine
Snow begins to melt

The sun sinks slowly
Dipping into water’s edge
Traces of color

Sunset streaked skyline
Painted with artistic hand
Lasting but moments

Night Flowers (Midnight in the Garden)

Tight are held our darkest clusters
Close to heart we cannot tell
Even those who trust us well
Hidden our blooms on sunniest days
Meant to share our darkest shades
Only for those special who notice
Flight are occassions to get away
Flock our seeds in familiar ways
With each other we are more casual
Right is what we always want
closing ranks against other ways
Against those who want to control us
Fight is what we were born to do
Give up hope we will be screwed
While losing ground is shameful
Might is what makes us strong
As long as we can get along
With all our sun loving neighbors
Sight is swayed by our emotions
Believing more than we want to see
Smelling sweeter than reality
Night is where we make our play
Really have to avoid the day
That's why we are 'night flowers'

Beauty Most Everywhere!

I
There is much beauty for all to see
With the eyes of faith and simplicity
For even the night flaunts its thrilling craft
With stars and scents and the breezy draught
II
The hills, the mountains and the gentle shower
The bowery green and the fragrant flower
In every space, around and beneath
The grandeur, resplendent, a legacy bequeath
III
And who could miss that most gentle art?
The innocent smile of the simply heart
And all around, subdued or just wild
The boundless mirth of a little child
IV
My heart takes flight when I would see
The impossible voyage of a honey bee
The soil knows how and when seeds should grow
The lightning, the thunder and the simple things we know
V
Yes, there is beauty in all we can see
Friendship and family and all we can be
There is sound and silence and music as well
Beauty is a language no words can compel
VI
Laughter is beautiful oh, what a sound
It raises the spirit, the soul is unbound
Happiness and love, the heart lingers near
Yes, there is beauty, most everywhere

A Harvest Moonrise

Grass not the same shade of green
Is duller now and lost it's sheen
Less tender leaves they rattle
Like old parchment becomes brittle
Apples ripen above hungry bees
Anxiously buzzing under trees
Crickets chirping keeping time
Ancient rythmic seasons' chime
Youthful deer crossing clover fields
More bolder than an old doe shields
Birds lifting together rise
And settle back to each surprise
A sunset paints some golden skies
Stage is set...for a harvest moonrise

Orchid of My Love

Please seduce me as I am growing wild
Hanging down from canopy of jungle
Born with love is freedom’s natural child
Rid me of all your corporate fungal

Please treat me not too cold and not too wet
I need your glowing heat and steamy love
Give me more a few nights in dripping sweat
With your love wild passion undreamed of

Sensually touching your skin pacifies
Embroidered silk on a empress’s dress
So rich your violet color amethyst
Good virtue transforming delicate stone

Searching over the world for charming grace
I long to fall into your sweet embrace
