Days surround the Buck Moon
Snowy crickets and katydids
pass through nymphal instars
to journey into another year.
Snows-of-winter visions
both behind and in front
day lilies, already in bloom
in gardens dancing with toads.
Wild blueberries sweetly ripe
colorful, succulent on the bush
say Hello to the new moon
and summertime enjoyment.
Saxifraga and bluebells
seen on high mountain climbs
Meadowsweet and Steeplebush
bloom freely in abandoned fields
Indian Pipes push themselves
up through the silent forest floor.
Walkers of the earth, breathe in
smell, taste, see, feel, wanting more.

peas do it
whole forests of
deciduous trees do it
we's could do it too
let's copulate
complete phylums of
pedigrees do it
i hope you'll agrees, 'n' do it
all desires to appease, do it
let's copulate
the paupers and the potentates
everyone wants to procreate
all manner of fauna and flora
do desire and simply adora
to copulate, they think it's great
every species wants its mate
giraffes are always necking
pretty parrots prefer pecking
gouramis like their kissing
waiting ladies, other blissing
so let's copulate
orchids all colored and scenting
attracting insects by augmenting
instincts desire to copulate
life’s fascination to procreate
arthropods genetically driven
give nods to drives unforgivin'
the whole world's standard of livin'
is driven by a desire insatiate
to copulate and procreate
so i hope that you'll agrees
don't give my affections a tease
i prefer not to beg, but please
i'll get down on my knees to
assume my position
on this admonition
let's copulate
oh baby, slake my burning desire
to amorously set your pipes on fire
all i really wanna do
is water your Archimedean screw
so let's do it baby, let's copulate
to tell you now, my own discourse
it's just our mattered intercourse
a filibuster would be remiss
I vote for you and me to congress
I'm unimpeachable
if you're reachable
let's do it, let's copulate

Sunshine, blue sky, tapestries of naked trees.
Water streams on roofs and spouts.
Hairs embracing springlike cool breezes.
Dogs and cats outside playing about.
Cars whizzing by on waterwheels turning.
Children outside with rubber boots splashing.
Snow caked mountains slowly melting.
Big footprints growing enormous blooming.
Warm golden sun rays quite seducing.
Unburdened autos suddenly austere.
Miriads of slick icicles glistening.
Sudden smoke from nearby bbq's appear.
Its a thaw in January that momentarily enraptures,
A Kodak moment that silently unfolds.
Sun rays and pleasant days not often captures,
A more scenic event seldom released from the cold!

light
the key
to what is
labelled as truth
illuminating
darkness of ignorance
revealing clearly what is
amidst all doubt and confusion
the magnificent power of light

Sense of silence, as waves beat the shore
No humans linger, just gull give the encore
Wind drives ocean spray, scatters all around
Surf-shells upon the sand, cause rolling sound
Dune grass waves and bends, eerie-wild
Seaweed wet and twisted, randomly piled
Bleak in the evening light, giver of peace
Rugged solitude, raw beauty will never cease
As the light fades, only sounds will be heard
Crashing on shore, silence from sleeping birds
Moonlight plays its part, shimmering on the sea
Nature never harnessed, and gifted for free...….

Special time, when sun must fade
Praise to nature, night beauty made
Light dims, sun loses strength-heat
Dreams are waiting, earth must sleep
Peace overcomes, buzz was the day
Muted colours now, subdued not gay
Sky darkens, soon broken by stars
Moon becomes lantern, to guide far
Across land, mountains and to sea
Lapping waves, on shoreline so free
Breeze stirs wind, to chase clouds
Silent beauty understated, never loud.....

Early morning, when mist clings to trees
In wooded hollow, only stirred by a breeze
Close by, lapping of ocean weaves a spell
Image of peaceful security, nature sells
Nature after dark, can be a scary place
When misty wooded haven, changes face
As spindled branches, adorning trees
Stretch-catching anything, moving free
Vision is restricted, by cloudy skies
When moon and stars, stay hidden on high
Uneven ground, with scattered roots trip
As leaves and wet soil, under feet slip
If lucky light filtered, by a shiny moon
Looking down upon scene, uplifting gloom
Stars may twinkle, allow spiritual lift
In a place where echoes, haunt and drift
Yet on a peaceful morning, at waking dawn
Nothing appears sinister, a new day born
Welcome's hope, to caste its magic spell
AS warming sun convinces, all is well......

A New Years dawn bought a welcoming surprise
A Springs connection that delighted our eyes
An offshore breeze and a glassy sea
Waited for us as we broke through the tree
Not a soul around as I reigned in my smile
Brought back memories of a lifetime worthwhile
How many morns had it been
How many dawns had I seen
The coolness of the water quenched my thirsty soul
I savoured this moment to make me whole
As we made our way out through the break
Is this real or from a dream will I awake
The point is rocky and the tide is low
The sets arrive and put on a show
My mate strokes into one it has good shape
As I ponder on our luck and this beautiful break
How fortunate we are to have what we do
Now it's my turn to play and my thoughts are with you.....

your fruit fell
from the branches
of your mind
and ripened soil
to flower sight
when I was lost
and blind
outstretched hands
that held
a nesting place
for birds
the creatures
that so intercepted light
when time
ran out of words
you were beauty
tall and proud
and free
that broke both
the horizon line
of math and science
and the restless heart
in me
