Who loves housework?
Yup don't all shout at once.
Life is a learning curve. If you have a red stair carpet, don't have a ginger cat. And really don't have a white dog. Or get rid of the red carpet.
Worst job - brushing the stairs with a rubber brush. No question.
Every time I have houseguests (and I love to have houseguests) I realize what a lazy housewife I am the rest of the time. By the time the guests arrive I have housemaid's knee, tennis elbow, and want to sleep for a week.

A Family Of Writers
I stem from a family of great writers. It runs thick in our blood. Actually, we have ink in our veins. It all started with my father.
He wrote bank checks that no bank honored, my mother wrote recipes that nobody tried; my brother wrote novels that nobody published, my sister wrote poems that nobody recited and I write blogs that nobody reads.
I must be the black sheep on the family. Maybe I should try graffiti; at least the people read that. Even if they pretend not to.

HEY, NEWBIES...THIS ONE'S FOR YOU!
(Introduction: I was browsing the blogs & this came up under "other blogs". A blast from the past, as it were.
Anyway, as there are a quite a few recent 'Newbies' (in fact, since this was first put up, a number of newbies have become oldies
) and undoubtedly there are more shy viewers 
...AND, with the changes CS has recently introduced, making one comment on this is easier than coming up with a whole new blog...
I'm gonna make that comment!

....Looking at the stats for several blogs, I've noticed a great number of "Views" relative to "Comments".
Being a curious type, I began wondering why that is so.
Thinking back, I was on CS several months before I even DISCOVERED the blogs.
(Thanks to the suggestions of a couple very thoughtful people...
who also gave me pointers - and encouragement - for offering comments.
You know who you are.
)
Even with that encouragement, it was some time before I haltingly & shyly offered my first one or two comments 
Anyway, I suspect many(!) of those "Views" are folks just needing a gentle nudge to join the CS Blog Family.
Well, newbies - ya just ran out of excuses - cuz...

Narco-mammil :- Dreaming of female nipples.
Schizoid scottylogdrop :- The habit of speaking in a Scottish accent in the bathroom.
Neuro caffineitus :- The mental need for far too much coffee.
Gynopexy:- Fixated on women, includes labia-phago (to eat)
Blogsympo:- The need to comment on blogs.

Release of 18 files containing details of unidentified aerial phenomena, that's UFOs to you & me, have been delayed again, till at least next March included in these files is "The Redlesham Forest incident, which is alleged to have taken place near USAF Woodbridge, Suffolk, in 1980, saw US Airman First Class John Burroughs, who was stationed there, exposed to radiation after a mystery "UFO visitation", though I spent a week on the base I am unable to tell you what I discovered about this incident 
The new timing for the release is I think highly significant
by March the new president for the USA will have been sworn in & the UK will have activated article 50 to leave the EU, one doesn't have to be a rocket scientist to work out there's a cover up here, there are several possibilities, could Hillary in fact be an alien robot, her health issues a dummy to cover the software flaws that give her robotic movement & make her fall over regularly the same could be said of Junker at the EU, his speeches often described as rambling & indecipherable, or could we be missing the real clue that no human has hair like Donald or as they never seem to talk with each other could the entire British cabinet be alien robots with a communications problem, indeed if that's the case I suspect Russian hackers to be behind that

A Common Boggle
Seems like a fair amount of us wonder why people use text shortcuts when they are not texting. What I don't understand is the way it's used when the rest of the sentence has spelled out words.
For instance, "Ur supercalifragilisticexpealidocious" Why not spell out the 'You're'?
"Y U so existentially exuberant?" Like what is the time savings here?
Is it an attempt to appear to be too cool for school? Is it an attempt to appear to be young and stupid?
Any assistance in edifying me on this subject would be greatly appreciated. :)

A Forbidden Love Is Sweeter
When somebody tells me to go to hell, I gladly try to oblige, but I never get further than the gates. Whenever I get there, they lock and bar the gates on first sight. The first time that somebody sent me to hell, I seduced the devil’s wife and he (the devil) withdrew my visa and forbade me ever to set foot in that place again.
I am the persona non grata #1 in hell. They have life size photos of me at the gates to prevent me from sneaking in there on the quiet. Believe me, I have tried several times to get back in without any success; I have a real soft spot for his wife. Why is a forbidden love so much sweeter?
As I don't qualify for heaven, there is nowhere else to go after death. As such, I am forbidden to die and doomed to live forever.

Somniphobia- fear of falling asleep

Trolliphobia- fear of shopping trolleys
Fluffiphobia- fear of fluffy things
These are just a few examples, will anyone admit to having a phobia and what it is?
