"Tiny In My Eyes"

"Tiny in my eyes"

Walking along wetted sand watching graceful gulls glide,
I have a sense that I too am watched with each and every stride.
It's a strange awareness to feel observed without seeing from who,
as in all directions I cast my glance but no one comes into view.

I continue walking trying to ignore as a tide pool now appears,
trying to ignore this creepy feeling that's working up my fears.
I came here to escape the mad hustle, bustle and rush of man,
not to be someone's experiment being watched upon the sand.

Another attempt to see who it is that's been staring down at me,
I throw my head and wheel around with mounting anxiety.
The sights I came to see and capture have all but lost their flare,
due to this feeling of being watched by someone who isn't there!

My stomach begins to ache within as tension continues to grow,
This creep that's been staring at me I'd certainly like to know.
Sounds are clear, sights are grand but this one thing I've still craved,
Who or what is watching me? - OH! it's the ocean that just waved!

How silly of me to get so distraught over something completely dumb,
to think that I'd been fretting over the presence of absolutely no-one.
I knew that in comparison to a giant ocean so grand in all it's size,
I'd be quite small standing next to it, but never so tiny in my eyes!

About this poem:
This was a poem that I wrote with a self-inflicted time restriction... I had 10 minutes before a particular meeting started and I wanted to write a poem within that 10 minute time frame... this is what evolved.

I'm only me..

I'm only me, not
much more
With black hat and
tie I hang on the
door
Mabey I'm built to
close to the ground
But I'm not the worse
on my side of town
All this with a vest
trying to look my best
Check out my poems..
You'll figure the rest~

kickit challenge

Tommy tucker
tater tott
Took tomatoes
to tip top
Tossed, turned, tumbled
tripped turning trails,
Telling toothless
tongue tied tales.

Bloom baby boo
Busty bombshell
Boldly blue.
Bumping, boisterous,
Bumbling brew.
Bootylicious.
Boom
Boom
Boom!!!

Misty mountain,
mellow moon
Music made my
melody move
Majestic medley,
meaningful maze
More memories
makes my
Mind migrate...

It's time for you to show

Dont do to others
what they done to you...
coz you will hurt another
And it comes Back to you!
Noone says it is easy,
but with a heart like yours,
it is not so hard either.
Be wiser ,not foolish ,
Be forgiving ,not Selfish,
Your talent is your gift,
Now is time to give others a lift.
Forgive and let it go,
It is time for you to spread your wings and show.

If we lived by this poem,
Mcradloff thinks this world will be at peace!
After reading this poem paloma agrees,
And says it is sound advise to me.
Odette from england is all smiles with compassion.
Because We all must learn to let go and forgive,
Jena find her freedom her love,
All silver pink purple wings and fly away.

Mountain creeks and lovely peaks

Clear and crisp the mountain air!
My Autumn Flower, come to me there!

Let's run with winds and kiss all night
Let's make sweet love in firelight

The woods are burning... Yellow! Red!
On fallen leaves we'll have our bed.

Our passion's wild like mountain creeks!
Our love soars high among the peaks!

Oh what is that, My Sweet Princess?
It's an alarm, what's the distress?

Your voice is weak, I cannot hear
with such a ringing in my ear!

Hey, creeks and mountains, they're all gone!
These are no leaves, I rest upon.

All by myself, I'm in my bed!
I had it only in my head!

That dream was real and very sweet
Now I feel lost and incomplete.

But from my bed, I have to rush.
I hear no creeks, just toilets flush.

And down the toilet goes my dream.
At breakfast faded had its theme.

All that awaits me is my day
so sad and lonely, dull and gray.

50 Ways to Pick Your Pocket

I know you saved up all year long
You wanted your kids to sing a song
about the vacation to Disney World
There must be 50 ways to pick your pocket
There must be 50 ways to pick your pocket
Just ride on the tram Sam
Buy a mug Doug
Buy your kid a doll Paul
Just listen to me
Eat a Mickey Mouse icecream Jean
You don't need to discuss cost
Just get a fast pass for that ride Clyde
And set yourself free
I know you feel abused by Mickey
If you want real abuse ask the workers
Who run Disney World
Or the Haitians who make all the Disney merchandise
There must be 50 ways to pick your pocket
There must be 50 ways to pick your pocket
Just pick up the bill Bill
Buy some Mickey clubs Bub
Stay in the hotel Del
Just listen to me
Buy a toy Roy
Eat a snack Mack
Ride a new thrill Jill
and set yourself free

Poem #3

Poem #1 was
just a joke
It could never
reveal the facts
Poem #2 was not
much better than
a ball of crumbling
wax
But poem #3 might
reveal that smile
I've longed for all
my life
When in nervous
anticipation I ask
you to be my wife~

E-Motions

Could be a block
of wood
Or a brick in
the wall
Perhaps I'd be just
one more link in a
cold endless chain
of steel but for these
E-Motions
These feel-Lings I
have for you..
'Just some thang I'm
going through, you say.'
It will pass cause they're
just E-Motions..
E-Motions are mind snatchers
that are spawned in a
butterfly feel-Ling factory..
These little winged elves
work tirelessly creating a
burst of colours that are
beamed throughout the
universe..
Mind bubbles are ordinarily
a shield against incoming
E-Motions that threaten to
overpower our senses, a
natural defense protecting
us against the crying towel..
But the almighty E-Motions
can overtake and pop a mind-
bubble if reason gets a little
mushy..
And once the dreaded E-Motions
break through..Watch out!
We will become a slop house
of sniveling snails slithering
slowly
And slow snails always slither
when they snivel unless you try
to be different and slither like
a lily liver..
But be of good cheer! There is
hope!
For $29.95 I'll send you a bottle
of Slitherless Slop!
It's an anti-butterfly immunological
crying towel vacine..
Just two teaspoons of our highly
potent tear duct glue and you'll
be to stuck to cry about it~
